Working with elderly at retirement community for my last 15 years til my retirement, helped prepare me to my present position at FBCNA as Autumn Years coordinator. Various positions such as Deacon, 200th Anniversary staff, special events and many other positions here and in my former Baptist church have prepared me also. Welcoming for Sunday worship has offered me the opportunity to be acquainted with our members and newcomers each week.
My three children have produced 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many of whom I have watched over. I love hanging out with this family and friends, going to the Y pool for exercise, but my one true enjoyment is sewing and quilting and the gifts I can produce for this large family. It also allows me to donate to other charitable organizations and to our Church fair.
I have felt challenged by God many times in my life, in my Bible studies with groups and my own daily studies. God answers my prayers over and over. I can say that being a member at FBCNA has enriched my life! God is Good!!
